Altar Ministry Teams. We
believe deeply in the ministry of the body of Christ, the anointing of
the average believer to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit. Altar
ministry at our renewal meetings and on Sunday mornings is therefore
not a "superstar" affair or a one man show. Training is required and
offered several times a year.
Extended Prayer Teams. For those times when you really don't need
counseling, but you really do need the power of God to prevail. A team
of 3 will meet with you by appointment once a week for as many as 6
weeks to soak you in Spirit-led prayer. Training is required for team
members and is offered several times a year.
Prophetic Ministry Teams. Some
in our midst have demonstrated prophetic gifts, an ability to hear from
God for "edification, exhortation and consolation" in the church (I
Corinthians 14). These teams are very carefully screened and
trained. Teams are composed of 3 to 4 for balance and correction.
Sessions last 10 to 15 minutes and are taped so that you can pray over
what was said and test it for accuracy in the unfolding. We are not
fortune-tellers and we can be wrong. We therefore permit no prophecies
of "direction, correction, dates, mates or babies." Our purpose is
simply to release power into lives through a valid I Corinthians 14
ministry.
