Cry On The Wind features a rich and harmonic 12-string guitar layered with thick harmony vocals ala CSNY.

I am a sucker for the sound of fingers on a 12 string and this one has a nice voice indeed. The lyrical message of this song is clear yet more subtle then much of the Contemporary Christian music.

The melody has a familiar ring to it and the vocals are clear, well intonated and crisply enunciated. Though perhaps mixed a bit heavy which is actually a pretty common thing in singer songwriter productions.

This is a simple song with a simple message. It is very nicely performed and Loren's voice really is quite strong. His sustain is exceptional with little degradation of pitch even after holding a note for nearly 8 seconds. Many of the young aspiring artists out there should take notice of this vocal performance as it is a solid representation of proper breath control in action, which is often times something that is severely missed by today's Indie vocalists.
