CHILD'S SONG AT NEW SONG
IS A WHOLE NEW CHILDREN'S
PROGRAM for 4 YEARS THROUGH 5TH GRADE
as of June,
2003, and is founded on the following values:

 OPENING EXERCISES consist of worship, drama,
puppets and dance
on a rotating basis, each taking a week in turn to ensure both variety
and excellence. Our children are learning to worship and to know the
touch of the glory of God when we praise Him.
<>Your child
then goes to a CLASSROOM
(classrooms are separated by age) where he or she remains in the care
of one loving teacher and a helper who serve as a pastors and teachers
through the entire morning and who come to know your child over time.
These are responsible for a solid Bible lesson
presented
creatively. A snack is also provided in the classroom.
TWO
ROTATING SPECIALIZED TEAMS MOVE THROUGH THE
CLASSROOMS over the course
of the morning. One team does CRAFTS,
usually arriving
dressed as Bible  characters and
helping to reinforce the lesson through some kind of hands-on creative
experience. The other team TRAINS CHILDREN IN
MINISTRY AND
SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE. We want our children to
experience the
touch of God in revival, to learn how to pray for one another,
recognize when God is speaking through dreams or visions and basically
exercise all the spiritual gifts that adults are
capable of.
In this way the program can be rich, excellent and include a fast-paced
variety of activities and experiences while providing a strong sense of
pastoral care.
 CHECK YOUR
CHILD IN BY 9:50 AND OUT AGAIN NO LATER THAN 12:15. A responsible adult must take care
of this.
Children will not be admitted or released without a responsible adult
present. This is not to cause anyone aggravation, but to protect your
children. We DO accept late check-ins, but when a child arrives late,
he or she may miss out on some wonderful experiences. God arrives on
time! So should you!
